Forgot how messed up this film is, I watched it as a kid and forgot what happened in it, while thumbing through the channels after the great goodfellas I come across MAd Max and so does anybody else agree that australians make some funny films.

Australians do indeed make strange films. Kind of like French films, but without the hairy armpits.

Mad Max rocked. Lots.

Decisions decisions, chop through the handcuffs and get burnt/blown to pieces. OR chop through arm and possibly bleed to death, with only akward-handed masturbation to look forward to....

the sequels were pretty shit though

heretic! Mad Max 2 was great, agreed Mad Max 3 was total hollywood overblown crap though.

Not as good as Rome: Gladiators 2053 Apocalypse Action though!

There was a good Aussie film with Bryan Brown and Heath Ledger out a couple of years ago. Can't remeber the name. About Heath owing Bryan (gangster) some money.

And Chopper of course.

It was called Two Hands, and it is one of my fav films, don't forget The Castle as well, thats a class comedy. Chopper was cool as well.

There was a good Aussie film with some guy who has been let out of jail and he goes home and then the police call round and then there is a siege of his house etc etc...

Was extremely funny and it was apparantly a true story

edit: was The Dish any good?

Mad Max 4 coming soon,

Mel gets a $ 25million pay day for it and it has a budget of $ 105 million.

That'll be a load of Hollywood bloat then
