Macro for multiple casts?

Hi

I am playing as a Warlock and I use 3 casts to initiate a kill. I can create a macro with one cast no problem but it would be great to click one button to cast all 3 after each other. Is there a /pause to use?

Any ideas?

Cheers

Saw some macros and using em myself to chain different actions (swap Weap and go Def Stance etc), i very much doubt that u can chain spells and or melee styles altho.

Or really boring ?

Why not play like it was intended, much more to do then.
But then again I like pushing buttons :)

If it was illegal! Why does Blizzard supply you with Macro facilities??

Just type /macro if you haven't used it. Or read the manual :p

I am also happy to push the buttons but with all the spell I have it would be nice for 3 spells to take up only 1 spot in the Hotbar. I am running CTmod but I don't want to clutter all the nice graphics with 8 hot bars. (Two is enough) :D

You don't gain anything more because you need to wait for each spell to complete before the next one is casted and if you move it is cancelled. So there is not CHEATING! Just effective Hotbar management

Cheers

As I recall it is not possible to do such macros due to the macro mechanics... not sure though.

I'm 90% sure that you can't cast multiple spells in 1 macro

No you can't, but there are addons that can *pause* from a specific time and then go along after doing another thing.

Each spells NEED a key press, you can however download a special mod that will basicly play the game for you If you spam 1 button. (Extreamly boring)

Im using part of that mod tho to help me cast my dots as they take to much space on quickbar otherwise.

That mod tho auto cast defensive spells, kick or whatever you want or can do so dont realy like it. (with auto cast i mean that it cast whenever you press ANY key or mousebutton so it cast by moving)

I'd like to see that law that says "U may not create macros, or u shall be punished severely!" :p

Blizzard have made it clear that pressing a single button / key will never allow you to cast multiple spells, so even if you can introduce a pause you won't be able to subsequently add another cast action to the macro.
