Lvl 50 Rogue

I just started one - lvl 5 - and thinking about leave him as a rogue till 50. 2 questions.
1st Is this possible?
2nd Will i get the skill points later if i changed my mind? i get 1 points / lvl as a rogue. What will happen if i choose infi profession at lvl 20? 20 points for those lvls and 2.25/lvl in laters?

Yep, you'll get the class-base skill points (1x level for all classes I think) until you select a profession. Infils get 2.5x a level from level 5 onwards.

And no, you wouldn't get any 'missing' points back.

I would seriously recommend changing to a proper class from the base at level 5 - otherwise, you can still level, but because you have no class-specific abilities you'll suck, in short.

Tried out whether you can get past lvl 5 without picking a profession, you can't. It simply gives u a message after the last kill before you ding 6 that says u cant gain any more exp before you pick a profession or sommat like that, basically it doesnt let you ding 6 and doesnt give you the exp back if u continue to kill mobs

u get 1.0 per lvl as a rogue, and when u train to be infiltrator at lvl 20,u will not get those all extra points cause he gets 2.5 per ding

hehe i took an elementalist to lvl 10, he still rocked as a base class although i did get a lot of "WTF lvl XX and still a base class? u suck" i replied with "STFU my char"

Lol, Kladen. No offence. Lol. I asked Cauton about it, but he couldn't answer properly and neither of my other friends. Just look the replies - somebody told me i can keep it him as a rogue, others said no. But no offense.

I tryed with a bard s few weeks ago...

I was 5.99 untill I visited my trainer.. then I was 6.99 and needed to kill one mob to get 7 ...

So I dont think its possible to do get 10 as baselevel ... not anymore atleast
