lvl 30 in emain

at the risk of being thouroughly stomped on here, I'd like to ask a question.

Am I the only that misses Emain in the old days when you didn't have to be lvl 45+ to go do some decent RvR ?

I started my RvR life at lvl 30, and I had a blast, undoubtly the best rvr time I ever had. Nowadays, you are insane if you port there before 40, and pretty sure to die quickly if you are below 45, especially should you try to sneak out there without at least 3 friends at your back.

I know you can just go to cru gorge or somewhere similar, but the real problem (for me anyway) is to actually get past MMG, after that it's pretty easy when you have stealth. But 9 out of 10 times I get killed before I reach the milegate. Not saying people should not kill greys (wouldn't dare to say that here), dying is a risk you take when trying to do rvr.

But how many wish it was possible to goto emain before lvl 40 ?
or if you do, how do you survive out there ?

Visited gorge in early 30s several times. Though plain lack of hibs of my level there made those unworthy the effort. The trick was to pass AMG with zerg and then take hib route to emain.
Probably as mid you have a harder time - throdding all the way to briefline from mmg is a suicide at this level, so you'll have to wait for zerg to assemble and move with it to bowl and then take your route.

since i started rvring at level 30 ish emain was always full of high level MIDS

albs were always outnumbered and out levelled

now we`re getting even or even at sometimes taking over in numbers of high levels you`ll be able to see what it`s like trying to fight 20 level 50 with 12-15 level 40-45`s

I started RvR in Emain at level 24 and have to say I miss the fear. You couldn't go anywhere without seeing a purple con enemy. I have vivid memories of playing hide and seek around the trees South of the AMG tower with Trelawney and a purple con Skald while Greggor and Revminster were being thwacked inside the AMG tower. Those were the days.

'Here we go round the Mulberry bush' had a different meaning back then. Luuna and I used to count the number of times we could run around a piece of vegetation whilst some Mid chased us, before dying.

RPs were what only the really good players got...not us lowbies, back then!

Frankly - I prefer it now where Luuna just Mezzes the masses and I McNuke 'em ;-)
