Luri Champ ?¿?

hehe been thinking about making an alt for a while... wanted to play a tank but wasnt sure which type.. was thinking spear... but a lw luri champ sounds way funner but i was wandering.. i mean i know there are good luri champs out there Incanter... Malevolencia.... Fluffeh but are they harder to make well? i mean if i do should i be making a shield/pierce would like to make a LW one as want damage but Luris by far the best race imo hehe but if its totally gimped ill come up with something else.. any advice? (god if been making lots of posts asking for advice.. sowwy lol ) thanks alot
also any idea how to spec a champ? lol thanks alot

go LW, final spec of 50 LW, 50 Valor, 27 parry, 7 shield is the standard one.

basically try keep LW at your lvl most of the way up and valor at maybe your lvl-2, rest in parry..

also beware, playing a luri champ is heavily addictive and may not be something you'll be able to stop doing

actually there's hundreds on luri champ alts out there lol, however you picked up on all the big names I think, me and incy being highest LW luri's and fluffeh being highest shield luri champ that I know of (since tiro has been retired for months now)

Don't make one, lurikeens always look such an easy kill, can't help going for them, its quite a suprise when they hit back for 350 , so you see its just evil to all the other players that want easy rp.

Even though I know that 2 handed hammer can't be up to any good, you look at them, bah look at the size of that, that can't hurt me

Sorry to jump on a Hib posting but I just have to say that playing a luri Champ must be a huge amount of fun. Malevolencia has killed me LOADS and for some reason I always end up laughing when it happens

Like Revminster (I know different class and everything) but you look at that bow, being the size of a safety pin and think mwuhahahaha....oooops.... /release.

lurikeen champions aren't tanks in RvR
they are a mix of caster and maybe even rogue

They don't distract enemy tanks from going through there lines

yes they hit hard (less than a celt through)
yes they are difficult to target so people target the elf behind them

there just not good tanks

Hmm.. Buble don't forget that luris have high dex/quick. so they have less miss and deliver hits faster, also theirs Evade and parry is little better. And with upcomming str/con buff.. hmmm.. don't think there will be diference between luri/celt champs

Just.. why they are so ugly?

I can take out two Albion yellow con armsman at once with my Lurichamp, now tell me he isnt a tank

again i like champions but lurikeen....celts are better and look better too

Like I think I said in my bg thread, one of my last kills in Thidranki was a Highlander Polearmsman, he couldn't touch me. I think i finished him with him hitting me maybe once maybe twice, I had lost about 10% health. He hit like a wussie compared to me and he was yellow con. Was a very nice little fight that amongst all the other fighting going on around while we were on the bridge

Whilst I can't comment about this for BGs (was well above 24 before they were out). I can comment on lvl50 vs 50 such battle that I had against gladiator, both of us unbuffed and no using of realm abilities. I won the battle quite easily as I'm sure gladiator can confirm (was a good fight tho ).

However the point you make about luri champs not being proper tanks in RvR is completely true, as I have not once felt at all gimped

(Not that I'm gonna complain if they wanna hand me more str and con )
