low population servers

I have'nt played this game in a while and was think of coming back, but after reading about the recent lag issues is it worth it?

also checking http://daoc.goa.com/en/ and I can see prydwen (my old server) has only 449 people on at 11:00pm in the evening (thats around 150 per realm in total)? is the server population always this low or is it just related to lag issues?

its cluster now. pry and exc. so the population is good, but the lagg these recent days has been worse then ever..

arrr thx for the reply m8. gonna will wait till they sort the lag out before I do anything then
