Finally finished downloading the beta client in the wee hours of Friday morning, played it early this morning and all this evening. Smashing game, very playable and with lots of class, Blizzard, touches.
The user interface is not as customisable as the EQ2 one, but the game - in my humble opinion - is a much better one. Much easier to get things done, but still plenty of quests and plenty of flavour. No interminable loading screens. Personalised characters with plenty of options to spec them differently to other players. Much better combat system.
Only at one stage this evening did I feel I was grinding, as I was 'in between' quests that were suitable for my wee dwarf hunter's level. Oh and because I was desperately trying to get level 10 (and animal charm) before having to log.
Unfortunately I was unable to accomplish my goal, but I must say I've had more fun in a few hours of WoW than I had in 3 weeks of EQ2.
Get it pre-ordered now, 'nuff said.
