Loosing connection every 13 mins exactly?

Hiya

Running tribes on a Win98 SE machine with Novell client 3.10 installed, thru a socks server on a novell 4 network.

Every 13 minutes I get the connect icon and the game times out, I think it's something to do with my network properties but I've tweaked em and disabled stuff etc and it still does it. It's as if I'm getting a bad signal or something every 13 minutes. I've check with the network people and they said the proxy isn't my problem - Plus my mates in other offices can play fine... Any ideas?
Is it the Novell client frontend? I dunno!

Also, how do I can up a different HUD that tells me my mines and genades and shit like that?

Its probably the novell client, if i recall ipx (the novell protocol) and tcp/ip really dont get along when used on the same system :/

I've disabled the novell client and used the standard Win98 one, I've also not logged in, I've also tried verious older clients, I've close down every program except explorer.. I've dont eeverything I can think of. :*(
