Looks like docks in Bled and Beno are moving to the Island......

Has someone mentioned this anywhere yet? Basically looks like docks are moving onto the islands so I imagine bridge traffic will decrease a bit as people won't need to cross it to get to the docks = Stealthers lose a bit of their food supply.

I think bad - personally I think Hib docks should move so they have to cross the bridge, so that people move away from the safety of the tower so that they can be killed! mwahaha

yupp move hib docks instead. But as we all know stealthers are the single most hated archetype in the game so they are apparently trying to remove the chokepoints where stealthers tend to camp

Apparently they remove merchant from the docks too: means you need to have a personal boat or go thru agramon, maybe not that bad change.

Stupid thing to do. Move Hib dock instead is obviously a much more sensible thing to do.

Removing Dock Merchants just means people will be even less likely to leave their own frontier :( .

I'm not sure on what my stand is on this... can't really say i've had all that much problem killing nonestealthers at DC bridge even though they don't have the dock on the opposit side...

Merchants will prob appear later on. Happens more then once that artwork is done before other stuff.

Although I hate stealthers with a passion and think the game would been far better off without them at all, I completely agree that this change is in the wrong direction. People are spending far too much of their rvr time in the safety of keeps and towers as it is, anything that would force people more into the open would been great. :/

Provided the merchants stay, it would seem to be a good change to make it easier for people to leave their own frontier without the current situation where you stand around at Beno docks while stealthers buy a boat you don't want 3 times in a row and you eventually get hit by the fgs roaming the areas looking for 'fair' fights.

Remove all docks except the ones at the 2 relic walls, then things will be better imo!

People can take boats to get to the other realms but it's more of an open run to get there, it's also further for people to run to dock camp so you'll get less people simply bombing the docks for rp's releasing and doing it again, there's also 2 docks so people have an option if the enemy is zerging one of them.
It's a longer boat ride sure but that can be solved by just speeding the boats up abit while traveling round aggramon (no-one jumps off them then anyway).

It should spread the rvr out round more of the frontier as well, 8v8 groups and soloers can find more places to get fights without adds while the zergs can still stand at the same locations and farm each other. There's also still the option of running through agramon if you want to.

Now make it so bold/surs/eras and berks can't be upgraded past level 1 in structure and can't be ported to (extra levels just give more guards) and remove their towers. (same for hib and mid). Make it so taking these keeps reduces the number of towers you need to take in order to stop the port to the other 3 keeps (beno/hurb and ren).
If you own 0 of the 4 towerless keeps you need all 4 towers to stop the ports.
If you own 1 of the 4 towerless keeps you need 3 towers to stop the ports.
If you own 2 of the 4 towerless keeps you need 2 towers to stop the ports.
If you own 3 of the 4 towerless keeps you need 1 towers to stop the ports.
If you own 4 of the 4 towerless keeps the enemy loses all ports.
Taking ren or hurb + beno opens the relic gates.

Stop porting into the other realms entirely, then killing the zerg actually works since it takes a while for it to get back, much like the old pads in CS, but with rvr on your doorstep while your sitting there.

Now you've got rvr spread out without silly numbers of keeps (but enough targets for those who enjoy seiging), but the keeps that are there are actually a challenge to get and relic raids can have some strategy to them again. Simply dropping 8 towers will leave you with 2 easy targets to open the gates if you want to do a fast strike, or you can take a few keeps first to make it easier. Beno will be a bit of a hike if you lose the port, but losing the port will be much harder if you actually look after your realm.

its actually an excellent idea, remove everything but bridges so we can camp bridges forever and ever and ever and ever. Its the bestest rvr ever!

Next expansion is probably gonna have a bit of an RvR overhall geography wise anyhows.
Unless Madfuck McMad took over at mythic they aint gonna give us another ToA or those silly catacombs classes.

I vote for chariots and stylised gothic zeppelins and a geography overhall in the next expansion.

I'm fine either way, as this makes it easier for soloers to get to the docks without getting zerged, while making it a little harder for stealthers to get to the easy rps. Now I think of it, it doesn't sound too bad...
