In December our clan server runs out and I am considering setting up with 1 or 2 other clans to share the cost of a dedicated server. I would control taking the money from the clans involved and hiring the server.
You will need to be a fairly established clan - dedicated servers have to hired for 6 months + generally so you need to be relatively certain you will last as a clan that long.
