Some corrections:

- Crush is neutral against mid mail.

- Everybody wears mid mail, not just trolls.

- Slash is the weakest damage type in PvP

- If you spec sword (50s, 43bs) your DD's won't pwn.

- Skold is axe not sword.

skalds hit like 2 times in a battle as well so surely the + from slash would help?

most tanks are trolls and hence wear chain, ofc others wear chain but 99% of mif tanks are trolls, about 70% of tanks are from mid.

There are no +'s from slash, if you are lucky you do neutral damage but most of the time -.

Before ToA there was a good reason to go sword: Augmundr's Foe Slayer.
Nowdays with artifacts Hammer is the only way to go.

Most people i know use mid chain cause we had a lot of hammer and slash freaks than thrust so Mid Chain seemed best. I think hib scale looks gay on trolls and albs btw

Everyone with armor: chain and armor: scale ability wears mid chain. I don't see what's your problem.

For hammer styles you got the best anytime (provoke - low end, nice dmg, high too hit, even if its got med def. penalty or so. it still oowns ) then you can use after parry style lambast as backup, when chasing people you have nice rear style with snare etc - if you are going 44/46/17. I havnt got higher than 35 or so on camlann so I dunno what its like at 50, but when I go rvr with my skald on normal servers solo well over 50% of the people I fight are stealthers. With 5speed hammer its nice to hit for 350 - 500 with anytime at quite a fast speed - so no they dont hit like twice in a battle.

With a 5.6 hammer twice per a battle is just enough. Tbh it's impossible to hit more as your opponent runs out of health.
