Looking for some specific item(s), some Minstrel questions

[Manisch Depressiv]

Looking for a chain piece (either arms, head, legs or feet) with 3 con and 3 str overcap, lots of hits overcap (100-ish :O) and then cold/heat/energy resists (in that order of importance). Has to be very high utility and can have con/str/qui/char bonus to it.

Can be also a shield, currently planing on using a Dragonscale Buckler, or is there anything better with higher imbue value than this and does it fit the above requirements?

Then two Minstrel specific questions:

Does dex affect the blocking/evade rate on a Minstrel very much? As far as I understand it, it's not skilled blocking and very basic evade that does not get affected by dex as it is on a spec blocker or a enhanced evade class.

And does + in instruments affect the damage of the DDs in any reasonable way? As far as I understand it, it does not.

Any input and suggestions are welcome. Wanna finish my 3rd ubah template .

I think dex only affects evade very slightly and is mostly used for AoE mezz and demezzing people.

+Instruments raises the damage a little I think, works like a normal spell line for the DDs after all.

Found 3 items that fit your requirement, but I discovered they were studded, leather and plate.

Put dex very low on your priority list, the only real use there is for it as a mincer (as long as your'e slash ofc) is to lower the time it takes to cast the ae mez, which takes half a lifetime to cast even with capped dex.

I've tested it some weeks ago:

+0 dex in template:
- AE mezz is "very" long in perspective with +75 dex. (so that's affected)
- Block-rate: 2,4753% of 278 hits I blocked.
- Evade-rate: 9,5987% of 278 hits I evaded.

+75 dex in template:
- AE mezz was ± 1/2 faster landed then +0 dex.
- Block-rate: 3,6539% of 278 hits I blocked.
- Evade-Rate: 10,8577% of 278 hits I evaded.

+25 str-cap in template:
- The diffrence with 75str or 100str in your template with a 29 slash-spec out
of 278 hits is 3,4866% base-damage.
---> Some I heard but not sure of is that strength-cap doesn't work many
on a weaponspec lower then 34.

* Up to you to decide if you cap strength (+25) & upper your dex.
* I have +11 str-cap in my template and +66 dex and works just fine.

I have ROGs on now. Nah, Manisch was the first and last char I went to RvR with with no MLs and proper template. Will not happen again.

ML10 and RR 3L0 in Leivrik and fully ToA'ed at 50 before NF is the way. With the recent appearance of the Golem Girls and the ML rush plans after cluster this seems possible .
