Looking for Jedi Knight2 tweaks

Hi I've just recently started playing jk2 online but am having problems with lag
Are there any tweak guides around for jk2, or would a quake3 one do the job?

Im on a 56k modem with a 700mhz Duron, 256mb ram and a gf3

Yeah q3 tweaks should do the trick, but if you're looking for decent pings try reducing the amount of data comming to you're PC

in the consol or your autoexec.cfg try

seta cl_maxpackets "10"
seta snaps "40"
Seta Rate "56000"

It works for me.. Yes I use BoardBand but the theory is sound
