...that I used to play on my c64. I think it was called *something*squad, but I can't really remember it's name [long time heh]

It was a turn-based game where the player/players commanded a squad of men who had to infiltrate buildings and complete goals/objectives. Your opponents were robots of differing strengths, speeds and endurance. You got to outfit your team with a varity of weapons and armor, but the heavier you got the less distance you could cover before your endurance was expended and your turn passed to the 'enemy'.

I remember things called 'battlebot', the second most powerful badguy and a round ball with legs that was the most powerful, sporting dual autocannons [the most heavy weap in the game]

You had a 'sort-of' 3/4 perspective view a la red alert, but then it was the buildings interior.

The 'lasersquad' thread jogged it out of swapspace really, because I seem to remember it called either lasersquad or lasersquadII or something...

So, anyone heard of it?

Laser Squad, by the same people that made Laser Squad Nemesis, currently being touted by that ever so lovely child Wolfeeh over on his thread.

I have memories of using a lawn-mower in that game. Tell me I'm not going mad, please.
