...that I used to play on my c64. I think it was called *something*squad, but I can't really remember it's name [long time heh]
It was a turn-based game where the player/players commanded a squad of men who had to infiltrate buildings and complete goals/objectives. Your opponents were robots of differing strengths, speeds and endurance. You got to outfit your team with a varity of weapons and armor, but the heavier you got the less distance you could cover before your endurance was expended and your turn passed to the 'enemy'.
I remember things called 'battlebot', the second most powerful badguy and a round ball with legs that was the most powerful, sporting dual autocannons [the most heavy weap in the game]
You had a 'sort-of' 3/4 perspective view a la red alert, but then it was the buildings interior.
The 'lasersquad' thread jogged it out of swapspace really, because I seem to remember it called either lasersquad or lasersquadII or something...
So, anyone heard of it?
