BUT THERES A CATCH!

It has to be slow ish but still uptempo to start with, and work into a crescendo at the end.

Can be any style, classical, punk, techno, whatever.

Any suggestions much appreciated.

Bolero, tho that might be longer than 10 minutes.

Oasis - All Around the World: 9:22
Lynyrd Skynyrd - Free Bird: 9:07

Both build into a crescendo but aren't too upbeat to begin with.

Bolero isnt fast enough at the start, it needs to be more uptempo, the search continues.

Grendel - Marillion (tho might be tad longer than 15mins)

Tool - Reflection 11:07
Massive Attack - Angel 6:20

and that's all I've managed to come up with, neither are unlikely to be what you want but it was worth a shot :)

Hybrid - Finished Symphony (possibly Echoplex remix might be better)

Pink Floyd - Echoes

Though it aint very uptempo to begin with

Or

Pink Floyd - Shine on your crazy diamond (part 2)

Or

Pink Floyd - Sorrow

Or

Pink Floyd - Terminal Frost

Or

NOFX - The Decline

Or

Pantera & NIN - Symphony of Destruction

Or

Smashing Pumpkins - Porcelina of the vast oceans

Probably none of what you want but they're all around 10 minutes long.

Worth trying something of Selected Ambient Works Volume 2-Aphex Twin. Album does not have any track titles per se. However the second track on Disc 1 is about 10 minutes long.

Spiritualized-Come together(Taken from the album Ladies and Gentlemen we are floating in space)

Trebz, Echoes and Shine On are probably far too long and don't evolve into what ECA was asking for, IMO.

That said, Sorrow works. Can't believe I missed it :(

Coming in at 23 minutes I'm not exactly sure if Echoes fits the bill. It was my initial thought aswell tho. But, there is a perfect song for what you require.

Guns N Roses - Estranged.

Easily the best song they ever did.

Future Sound of London - We Have Explosive is about 6:20, though a longer remix can't be too hard.

Fluke - Atom Bomb (Chemical Brothers Remix) seems to be a better bet.:)

Marvin Gaye and Al Green are the secret, you need a slow almost swing sound, that way you get a natural rhythm thing going on.

*goes to find a copy of his seduction mix*

Heh no, it's a mix I did for a friend to put on when he finally got a girl he'd liked for about 2 years back to his place. He put it on and they ended up in bed together. This makes me me feel both good, for having supreme song selection, and bad like a cheap pimp.

Underworld - Born Slippy or Public Domain - Operation Blade spring into my mind, but the latter is not really slow in any shape or form. :)
