Looking for a decent Guild

Hi,

My Girlfriend and i started playing on Midgard (Got tired of Alb) and i am wondering if there are some good guilds currently on the lookout for new members...

I'd prefer a guild with focus on both RVR and PVE since it might take some time till we reach 50 ...

Just ask the first guild you come across when you are hunting, most guilds in midgard are rather decent.

Best thing to do is go about your normal xping business. You'll start to fall into groups in the late teens/early 20s. If you spot 2 or 3 people at that level who seem decent, and are from the same guild, ask to join (simply mentioning the fact that one of you has a pair of X chromosomes will guarantee your acceptance)

Just watch out for Ozrid hes looking for a powerbot slave for his runnie :p

Indeed i ended up in RIP, but i left them as soon as

- i looked up more info on them and noticed everybody is low level
- The guildleader asked me on how he should promote people
- They seemed to invite everybody who they could ...

So now looking for a guild :)

Warders of the 7th Sigil - Got a ton of really nice members.
Bulle af Fetstryk - Also very many good members
Savage Conclave - Very good leadership, ton of nice guys (myself included)

well, as always, it depends if u want a large or a small and cozy guild... ;)
...then you should ask around for the characteristics, ambition and setup of the guilds which seem interesting to you and finally you should check out their website for basic infos.

I agree that Midgard is a nice place to be in and that most guilds are nice and respected. Many of them also go back to the beginning of this realm which attests them a certain continuity.

Like you probably know from Albland joining a guild is easy, almost too easy reflecting on the weight of this decision for your future in this realm... There is a certain codex followed by most of the senior guilds around not to actively recruit from other guilds. It is also not very well seen if people hop guilds, especially at higher levels. Therefore I strongly suggest to take your time and choose wisely. If you are thinking on later going on RvR also its worthwhile to check the alliance affiliations too. ;)

Ask guildleaders anytime for help if you feel unsure as they can surely assist you further in the pursuit of a nice guild...

depending on whether you want a small guild or not, both Purple Warriors, and Talons Reach (sister-guilds) are relatively low in numbers, meaning that almost everyone you speak to is friendly (i say almost... dont talk to me first thing in the morning :p)

Depends on the kind of guild you are looking for.

If you want to run around emain all day, then any of the larger guilds will be fine.

If you are looking for a smaller, friendly guild, then have a look at
Vikingar
We spend way too much time chatting on voice comms, while trying to own thidranki, but we do full RvR and xp groups too.

Lol! I'm gonna spec 45 pac with my healer so there is no real danger to be abused as a 'powerbot'. And even if you get abused by Ozird he'll pay you with the finest cookies. (The same cookies that allowed him to form and take over the New Era Alliance. ;))

I'll pm you a more detailed profile of KN if you are interested in joining a mid sized, friendly guild consisting of a muchillion of alts played by people who all are suffering from the same disease... (Some freaks have 2 lvl 50s and are still playing alts. Some talk to their buff bots lately.)

Get a guild that can
1)support you
2)be friendly (most guilds)

Get a guild that you can
1)Help out with Powerleveling
3)Help out with most stuff (if they need help with anything)


:) thats what i look for anyways

I would recommend eye of odin (yes, we are not dead!), but we are still trying to recover from the mass leaving of most of our members.

personally i would recommend either savage concave (nice peeps, godd organization), fedy something (can't remember how to spell it) for loads of guild events and really nice people.

those are the two best guilds (apart from EoO of course) imo.

(they are two that most of my friends are in, not sure about others tbh :))

Nah you prolly dont wanna join Savage Conclave, since they're the ones responsible for the forced namechange of our favorite midgardian citizen Lurikeen ... but then again if you wanna rally with nice chaps that rather ruins things for other mids than wreaking havoc upon dem hibbies or tincans, feel free to join Savage Conclace ... :sleeping:

In short, lots of decent guilds in midgard. Some guilds are pure RvR others are more PvE and roleplaying. Find one that suits the way you like to play.

a nice peice of advice :) i was 20ish b4 i became jorm, and they wern't the first giuld i found, but they are a sound set of peeps.

I was in grammar avenger mode last night, that guild name is just an innocent spelling mistake that the pretentious spellaratti like me scoff at while others roll their eyes at me.

Camlann guild name(s/z) had me in a laughing fit, though.

I'm an alb, but I used to be mid, SC has some very nice people...

just wondering: what the hell did that have to do with anything ?

Well he is pissed that his m8 got his named changed, and since he noticed that some of those that posted that they feldt it was lurikeens own fault, was from savage conclave ... he blamed us

atleast that is the only way I can see it
