No, not a link to a handy £1000 new motor that'll roger on for years.
Just a quick heads up that I desperately need to shift my old motor. If it's not gone in a fortnight from today it's going to the scrappers, which would be a shame for a car in running condition and not actually looking too bad.

If anyone's interested, it's a '97 P plate Rover 416i. No tax (SORN), MOT'd until mid September, exhaust is recent, it's a good runner (even with 103000 miles on clock) fair cosmetic condition but with some rust round the wheel arches I've quickly primed and painted over to stop further spread. May need a new battery though due to having been stood a while and it needed a new one last time it was drove in December. This has had some slight cooling issues which may have already been solved since I bled it last, or may work upto something more serious, but it's currently very driveable.

Either way, if anyone is after a cheap runabout and importantly is able to move it (not legal to drive it whilst SORNd iirc), then get in touch either in here or PM for further details. All offers considered, with luck it will help someone out that needs one.

Sorry if this seems to be a bit "spammy" but thought it'd be worth seeing if there's anyone in desperate need of a runabout. For any accepted offers over £100, the difference will go to a charity of choice.

Put it on Ebay, it'll go. Just make mention of the headgasket.
