So I work in a college :( which is bad enough as it is. There is one room where all the pc's are un-networked and have only the admin user (Alarm bells ringing). So one little shit has created a user (or changed since the admin doesn't appear to be a choice on login) with a password. Is there anyway of well basically getting in without deleting everything. It xp pro and its got LOADS of shit on it due to it being a AV editing machine.

My only idea is to tell the teacher that some student has done this and get him to kick ass.

There's no way of finding out the admin password... but it *might* be possible to just overwrite it.

I've done this successfully on my Win2K laptop.

Take a look here for some info.

Basically you overwrite the admin's password with one of your own choosing. If you decide to go down this route, read all of the documentation before you start!

aye the 'change password boot-disc' looked like a good option. I've sacked it off for a while (more pressing things) so I may do that later. Cheers :)
