Long lost map

When I first played CS, which I think was about beta 6.6 or 6.7 there was a map called Docks which I though was really good. Why is this map not played anymore

I'm probably gonna get a whole host of people telling me it was utter shite, well I liked it.

I thought it was a bit poor to be honest. Its one of thoose maps you either love or hate. Obviously the Cs team go thte impression more poeple hated it.

Thought they would have had that impression about Oilrig by now.

I actually was a bit pissed when they removed Docks at the time until I had a go at it again on the BW Old Maps server a bit ago. TBH it palls next to the newer maps now and I think they were right to remove it.

It may be nice to see it refreshed and tightened up and then released again but then that could be said for a lot of the old maps.


The maps I think should go from ver 1.3 are 747 and Assault.


Rotterdam is only average at best IMHO.

There gonna use docks as one of the maps in the ECSL this season, as well as Assault 2K and a few other custom maps.

Assault should go? YOu obviously havent played a balanced game of it for some time. 747 is a good map and its fun, maybe not tactically demanding, but its just fun, funs good.

assault = mmm ok depends if u get REAL boring Ts
rotterdamn = less said the better
docks = i liked it

ok - I prefer playing CTs on Assault, come on its not that hard...ALL the as maps should be removed (PLEASE!!) and they should bring back es_frantic and es_jail and 747 is camping and boredom and Docks kicked arse
