My bloke, known to you all as WPKenny, is 23 on sat so I've said we'll go up to London and go to the Trocididiero centre, so he may playeth a computer in new surroundings.

Is there anything else ultra nerdy that comes recommmended for London? The musuem of moving images seems closed at the mo, and I really don't know my way around London enough to know whats to do. I'd be quite happy chasing pigeons round in circles for hours, but I dont think thats Kenny's cup of tea.

I'm such a yokel and I get all discombubulated when buildings are taller than cows. Advise appreciated.

Tottenham Court Road has lots o' computer bargains, shitloads of hardware and stuff. Can be nice, I guess. Dunno why anyone would want to come to London though. :/

The closest thing to excitement in Canterbury is looking at the Cathedral.

It is big, with a pointey roof.

London eye. Dont know if you need to book in advance and all that. or if its that great.

Nando's. I love the chickens there.

Kings cross at night time.

national art museum.

Buckingham palace, worlds ugliest building.

Rowing or paddling boats at hyde park.

Getting muged in the streets.

Boarders book shop in oxford street.

Train spoting in paddington.

come to think of it. I live here and have no clue about what to do in london. Ignore all of above suggesstions.

I'd personally avoid Tottenham Court Road like the plague, just keep it for window shopping then go buy the stuff off the internet when you get home, it'll be cheaper and you'll get far better customer service.

Check This is London, loads of links to touristy stuff.

P.S. I don't think you should have mentioned cows.

Make time to visit Computer Exchange in Rathbone Place (just off Oxford St).

St James' Park is nice - you can feed the ducks.:)

Try the Namco Wonderpark in the former GLC building (next to the London Aquarium) instead of the Trocadero. It has more games.

If you need a guide give me a call on 07970 216 444 and ask for Ono The Tour Guide.
:p

You mean "Death Gate Cycle" series ? Yep, very good. I liked all of them, Dragonlance, Rose of the Prophet, Darksword.
