Howdy all,

My sister was diagnosed with non-hodgkins lymphoma the spring before taking her GCSE's. She had chemo and with a bit of a struggle got through GSCE's and Alevels. Shes now studying at uni and planning to run the London Marathon to raise money for the Teenage Cancer Trust.
The Teenage Cancer Trust aims to raise awareness of cancer in teenagers and provide support to children who are diagnosed. They do this my providing services both within hospitals and in the community, funding teenage-friendly cancer care units in hospitals and giving presentations to schools and communities on cancer in the young.

Both myself and her would greatly appreciate your sponsorship.

Many thanks,

Peter

Pics or I won't sponsor her.

now then, how about a nice pic from after she's run it, oh I dunno, crossing the finish line or something, and you sponsor her beforehand? ;)

Thanks to those who sponsored today.
When she does it, I'll get her to write something up, possibly with pics of her finishing and post it here so theres a bit of followthrough (heh!)
Don't worry about the wee thing Trem, she found it quite amusing :)

She did it in 4:27:27 which is slightly slower than what she expected but still good given she had a month off training in feb due to knee injury.
