Do they honestly believe we can win an Olympic bid with this logo?

The colourful ribbons (similar to that of a children's party) have even been 'crafted' into the shape of the River Thames. Golly, that's just lovely.

Would the branding agency giggling in the corner with a big brief case please stand up.

Just read the press release accompanying the web announcement. They got £10k. That must be what, £1000 per min of design?

Of course, this will gain them recognition amongst the corporate world of "Oh shit, we're failing. Quick, rebrand. That's progressive." So not a bad afternoon's work for Kino Design. Good work, if you can get it.

Can I borrow a tenner Summo? Nothing you do can hide your immense photoshop skills! I know!

Maybe by the time we reach Space Year 2012 that kind of minimalist "Clip Art" style will be hip and retro, you never know.

I think its a bit daft that the logo obscures a significant bit of the name of the bid.

Aye. If you were to have ribbons at all, why not have "London 2012" on one line, and the Thames ribbons as an underline?
