Over the past couple of years the ritchiuos fol @ the MPAA and RIAA had been hiring peeps to upload dummy files of varous things from mp3, to tv shows and movies on to servral torrent sites. one such company doing this was Media Defender. and it seems all thier high level uber screat shit just got leaked it includes thier e-mails employee info and plans. read more @ TorrentFreak

I found it interesting that the media industries own research shows what we already know from independant research (this was included in the leaked data) -

“A larger volume of CD sales in 2006 were lost to borrowing, rather than to P2P”

“Established P2P users spend more on CDs than consumers new to P2P”

Something they are very quiet about. But its no secret that its all about control of media habits and outlets, not of direct revenue.
