I sure as hell dont know all, but I do know a lot about all 3 realms and the state of them here on prydwen and I merely speak of the experience from my time I have spent playing Daoc. Please take your witty comments and shove it mmk? Play all realms to 50 and explore them all and RvR in them all here on pryd, then come comment.

shike u seem like a nice bloke, but the fact is u know shit about todays hibernia, its evolved and changed even in the last couple of months. Focus pulling has made it so that we can barely get any sort of rvr group together, because we have too many people either using chanters, or plvling yet another alt that they inevitably will get bored of after rr2 and start all over again
I remember a time long ago when the majority of hibs worked together, but why should they do that anymore now that focus pulling is norm. All ends up that no one groups and no one knows or even cares for each other.

I am (sadly) well aware of the situation and problems with the chanters atm, I cant blame anyone for it though, mythic have equipped hib with the focuspullers and ofc they will be used to PL and farm etc...
A short summary of hib in my eyes would go something like this in comparison to alb and mid
The average hibernian player play less than the mids and albs.
The average hibernian player is more interested in PvE than the mids and albs.
The average hibernian player logs after 2 deaths in the frontiers.
Hibernia lack leaderfigures in RvR where albs have several very RvRactive guilds with their leaders, mids have it aswell.
Hibernias situation in RvR has made people that enjoy RvR quit/change realm.
Hibernians is very good at talking about things and discuss solutions but have a _very_ hard time to actually perform them and make them come true whereas mids and albs dont have so many problems (whether this has to do with hibs in general or something else is up to debate)
and so on, feel free to pinpoint out problems or correct me, I dont mind.
I know some of the bigger guilds can muster 2fgs if they really want to, saw 2fg SP in Emain not long ago and i nearly fell off the chair, I havent seen them since that time though, where did they go for instanse?
In my opinion, the guildleaders have some sort of responsibility to push out the members and gather them and teach them RvR if they arent performing well, thus the RvRleader must have some sort of tactical mind and know the realms classes well and how a group should be assembled for it to work well, we all know Emain is the death for a poorly balanced group, that applies to all realms when they face SoTL, warders, Eclipse and so on.
If hibs in general was thinking more as members of a REALM instead of sitting in their own little private bubble and farming or doing something else but to RVR and roll needed classes they would use those zillion chanters to PL them and try and learn and improve and actually get good at it. Xest had a nice idea with the zergs, but where did it lead? Some people had theories about heading out to RvR with the newly made characters after hitting 50 and so on, but it never happened. It resulted in some hibbies with one more highlvlcharacter on the account that he/she knows jackshit about in RvR (this is a generalization). Since Hibernia have the least members you guys really have to start thinking about more than having one more 50 on the account, otherwise Hib will sink deeper and deeper into the mud until it consists of nothing more than a PvEbased realm (which it nearly is now).
I know hibs discuss this back and forth and try to find a solution, but trust me, disussions dont lead anywhere tbh, you need to act and do something, maybe reform guilds to make them stronger, appoint leaders and give them a chanse whether you like or dont like them on a personal basis with a higher purpose in mind? Shake the realm around a bit and wake it up... I cant help it, but I really really feel sad over that the feckin idiot Path killed GoS, we had a really nice thing going there and when GoS died, so did a lot of Hibs RvR. GoS was way more important than many hibs understood. Also the arguement USP and many GoSers had about Path when there was talk about the council ripped huge soars on a personal level in hibernia, I stood on Paths side that time of course since he was my GM but I now realize it should never had gone that far, it was stupid of us to stop such a good idea from coming true just because of pride and loyalty to the GM. I do hope something like GoS can be built again, a strong guild that have massive numbers of members where there are plenty of leaderfigures like Jood and Elanza that acts as engines for RvR that set goals and ensure they come true.
Realms need guilds like that for RvR to work well, Albs have LoE, SoTL, GoP and so on, Mids have Warders, BO, OS and more, what do hibs have now? Nothing that can be pinpointed out in my eyes, only eclipse that run around 1fg and wipe some arse out there, but do they do it for the sake of the realm and do they help the realm to progress and become stronger in RvR or do they do it for their own personal fun? I dont say its wrong to do it, I just think that hibs need something more than guilds like that for it to work out. This is in no way a flame towards Eclipse, I respect the way you guys wanna play the game and wont say anything about that, its your choice, not anyone elses. If you analyze it a bit, eclipse is a chainreaction of what have happened in hibernia, some of the best players end up in the same guild and play together, what does that say about the rest of the players in the realm?
Are they possible to lead? Are people willing to listen and set aside personal pride and take an order and fulfill it? Are people willing to learn their chars to a decent level so that they can do any good in RvR? Its questions like these that should be asked to the realm, and those that say, yeah i can do that, form a guild and kick some arse, I am quite sure more guilds would follow and go out more aswell if that happened, just remember that Rome wasnt built in a day and it takes time to get groups functional in RvR to be able to compete out there.
I do hope that you guys sort it somehow, I have plenty of friends among you and wish everyone to have fun in this silly game, thats all
