I think this forum is great

I've never been offended reading any articles. That may possibly be that I don't follow some of Wijs/MT/Wazz 'graphic' imagary links

We've had loads of new members over the last 6months some have been idiots, flamed and never seen again others have learnt from there initial mistakes and now form part of the close knit community that is the General Forum

If people who wanna post here would only just read the forum for just a couple of weeks to understand the way you/we post they would most likely get on much better.

I've read/taken part in tens/hundreds of discussions on important things like racism, politics, crime, meaning of life stuff and have learnt a great deal from them.

I won't go on (ooops to late)...

May the General forum and its posts continue

Agreed. Ive only been posting in here for about a year, and although initially a bit intimidating (actually, I think I was just ignored mostly) I seemed to have settled quite well. In fact its almost friendly in here sometimes. The reception I got when our daughter was born was really nice, made me feel all warm and cuddley.

Granted there is a fair amount of aggression usually, and the language is, well I wouldnt let my girls read it, but hey, who gives a fuck.

Whilst Im on the subject , as someone who clicks "veiw new posts", or whatever it is, rather than a particular forum, though I post mostly in the Half-Life forum I know, the whole thread list is permanently awash with "how to sharpen my axe"/ "a pint of foaming ale inn-keeper" threads, entirely obscuring all other forums, with the exception possibly of the HL and maybe this General forum.
And I've even been banned from posting in the DAoC forums, because of my "shocking" language, apparently.
