I still reckon the odds are in alpha's favour...I see lots more people killed by him, then him getting killed. It 'specially pisses me off to run all the way to emain to rezz someone, only to be stunned, dd'd, and bitch slapped around the little tower.

I'm just out having fun Foolou, if i die i die, no biggy..but i tend to have a lot of fun in the process =). But yes i do agree my deathrate has been higher the last few days, but a lot of that is to do with making my encounters more challenging...as i think a certain lvl 50 hero will agree =P

BTW sorry for corpse jumping you like that, but it was kinda payback for you doing it outside crim a few weeks back after i got ganged...dunno if you remember it but i had the last laugh there too when i asked brommix to kill you whilst you did it..and he did lol.

how can you see that? you cant see killmsgs from your own realm, and you cant see killmsgs from the ones he kills, unless you are in the realm of those whom he kills :]

No mate, but I can click on the little saracen fella that seems to have the uncanny ability to make it back to his TK no matter what. I also tend to be one of the people running around rezzing the leftovers of alpha's day out...in my 100's of encounters with alpha, he has been the dead one prolly 10 times(including FG ganks - 'cos solo he owns me stupid, I don't even get to draw my weapon).

when a bard gets his insta mezz . no doubt purge will be out , so it will be a case of a minz mezz/dd/dd/stun u u drop or mezz u insta mezz him and run ,

purge rocks and imo hibbys wont be nowhere near as powerfull when it arrives , also if a mins gets realm ability sos u wont kill many of them .if they got it avaliable to use .

Also why lull? A minstrel isn't going to get interrupted by it, they're just going to insta stun you and smack you about. :p
Bard vs minstrel fights are normally a case of "bard DDs, minstrel dds back for 2.5x dmg, bard hits with club, minstrel hits back for 1.5x dmg" :p

purge works for 2 - so essentially neither class will be have the advantage. Depending on the minstrels priorities, purge might not be top of the list of realm abilities. Clarifying harmonies can break a mezz, but has a 3 second cast time and obviously can not be cast if you are the mezzed party. Purge is also has a 30 minute timer, so chances are that there will be many occasions when both classes have timer counts and can't Purge. I think you are putting way too much faith in Purge totally changing the landscape of RvR.

Insta mezz has a much larger range then mini's stun and therefore can easily be used to slow the minstrel down.

You are assuming the bard has a typical Nurture/music/regrowth spec, the odd bard has basically dropped the other spec lines and used blades/blunts. Bards with that spec line would seriously hurt the most common minstrel template. When you meet one you will know.

I lull you just to see the gold stars buzzing off your head...makes you look pritty :p

Wow, i never realised i was gimped =)...44 inst, 37 stealth, 32 slash (bases).

@Lonewolf FYI the level 50 cleric buffs your talking about are from a 48 smite spec cleric...whose buffs are actually not as good as a lvl 32 enahnce cleric =)
