I've got one of those ergonomic rubber sided Logitech mousey things and whatever I do I cant get the Thumb button to work under CS. It worked fine under quake, as when bound it produced a code of '0x00'
Has anyone out there got around this problem?
Damn thing works fine under windows, whatever I assign to the thumb button - backspace / pagedown.

cheers.

I believe downloading the latest mouseware does the trick from http://www.logitech.com. However, half life/cs is the only game that actually recognises it straight up as "button 4" although im using windows 2000. It just wont work under quake games ;)

try removing the logitech drivers and using the Microsoft Intellimouse drivers (on the Win 98 SE CD).

I got a 3 button wheel mouse that used its own drivers, and they worked with everything except HL and CS. After I used the Intellimouse drivers everything has been dandy.

Using the windows mouse drivers bind the thumb button to a key you don't use (eg F7 or something).

Then go into CS and bind the function that you want to that button.
