is there any method to start up with the toggle set to F-Keys instead of Multimedia-Keys ?

There is a F lock key on Logitech and Microsoft keyboards but neither brand has the F lock enabled as default - it's annoying cos F7 is spellcheck but its F10 if the F lock isnt enabled.
AFAIK there is no way of changing the default :(

OK, not sure if this will help any - and I DID search for Microsoft (as that is what I am using) not logitech, but anyways:

If I find anything on Logitech, I will bung it up here :)

EDIT- I should add, this involves messing with the registry - the F Lock is hardware controlled, not computer controlled, so this seems to be the only way to do it.

I have one of these and I have had so many occasions where I've been whacking F8/F7 or something and nothing happening...seriously annoying, would love to find a fix for it. It seems to be off by default (because obviously switching my browser to full screen is more important that a F10 key...) so even to change that would be an improvement...
