Login.dll crashes

This is the error

I'm at a friends house because he has some problems with his catacombs!
× We've tried reinstalling the game as a starter, but that didn't do it...
× We've tried swapping the old (working) ToA game.dll with the new catacombs game.dll, but that didn't do it...

We're out of inspiration! Please help us out here

I'm sorry, apparently that thread I pointed to has been foobarred by types like wittor and WiZe^, feel free to pm them to make very clear that they've been fucking it up for all the normal people here.
