logginshortcut to bypass update server?

Make a .bat file, like bypass.bat in your daoc directory...
Then put these 2 lines in it:

login.dll
exit -y


But loginservers are better now than they used to be, so hopefully you don't need this

i think they removed this as it was being used for 3rd party programs

Yes it does, just tried it..

It works with XP btw, and old tips on Barrys was also for XP only I think

DOesn't work on win98..can't run .dll files directly in win 98...

Calling the login.dll file works, because you still have to enter your username and password.

Calling the game.dll with your server IP address, username and password to auto-login no longer works.

copy cmd.exe from <windir>\system32 to <daocdir>\login (make new folder)
rename it to login.dll
launch it
run your old bat (@start game.dll.....)
