lo peeps 
okis after trying numerous things mentioned on these boards & i still couldnt log-in because of "wrong username or password" error, i did the last resort option... Re-install DAoC from scratch
Good news is that my DAoC is up & running Bad news is, it took me over 8hrs to d/load patches (56k!)
Anywayz, if you do re-install be sure to save any of your char files & user.dat from your old install & copy & paste them to your new install when its finished (this will save alot of headache!) Also i would suggest BACKING up your DAoC/SI folder(s) as soon you have re-installed & patched them this would have saved me 8hrs but nm ...im jus glad my daoc is back up
Once you have done all this..delete the old daoc/SI files (with a smile on your face!)
It still wonder what had caused it for me as i am 100% sure my DAoC/SI did not patch at all so it can't have been the US patch causing probs (i even checked the url for patching & it was the english url) ... i just got home from work then fired up my PC/DAoC,it skipped through the file check as it normally does so i then copy & Pasted my password (as i normally do) then i got that damn message
