LoE / SotL take on Xanxicar

We headed down into the crystal caves this evening to pay our respects to the new dragon, Xanxicar.
The elite guards that line the passage down to him are lvl 75 and took 5-10 mins to kill each. With many deaths and respawns, it took us two hours to finally reach his lair, where he lay surrounded by 4 more elite guards.
When we finally took him on, we fell within a few minutes. He is a PBAE based dragon, who has a nasty habit of throwing people high into the air. Even with Safe Fall III, he still took 99% of my life off.

I look forward one day to revisiting him in a unified effort with other alliances, after this little fact-finding trip.

Ill put this down here, in order to spare you from certain demise

Xanxicar, after being killed(which im sure you'll manage.....with teh b0rg and teh puddle ), will cast a MASSIVE ae on the entire room in which he's in a few minutes afterwards - killing anyone who is unlucky enough to be inside

So, grab lewt. Run.

Heh, he drops random gear, made by the item generator. so he's not worth the kill. imo ;(

While I do agree he is not worth the kill for the drop, he is certainly worth it for the sheer challenge. After all that's the point of half the new areas in SI, the challenge.

Theres no challenge imo, you get as many people as possible and zerg, its the only way to kill the new "uber" bosses in SI, you rarely need tactics, its just the biggest zerg wins
