Did anyone else see this documentary on Ch. 4 last night about Backyard Wrestling?

These are 15-20 year old boys who enjoy wrestling each other in feilds and backyards while using weapons.

At one point, one of the fat kids had about 3 barbs of barb wire stuck in his back!!

Stupid bloody kids. It reminded me a lot of jackass or that other, less funny welsh one. Except it seemed a lot less organised. What the hell is this world coming to?

Dirty Sanchez is so much funnier than Jackass. Though "World Famous for Dicking Around" can be the funniest. It does help that I know people who live in Carniehill though (small village in Fife where it is filmed). And it is a bit hit or miss.

That's the sorta "GTA3 makes people steal cars" logic that ruins a heck of a lot of things. Backyard wrestling is so old it smells like a rotten turnip.

I saw it for a very short while, enough to see some kid in a mask get smacked in the face with a large metal drum and as he rolled around on the floor clutching his head in agony the rest of the kids weren't sure if he was acting or it was real. Suffice to say it was real and when they got him to a hospital and he claimed he fell and hit his head or something he had a huge gash and it would be scarred for life with a small bald scar-line there. They then posted it all on an internet site abou backyard wrestling, including the footage and pictures of the wound and he turned out to be really quite proud of the injury in the end

I watched it and the funniest part had to be that federation made of of two people! A girl and a bloke with a young teen wannabe.

Almost cried with laughter watching them play it up to the camera.


Never even heard of back yard wrestling though which baffled me about the prog..... ahhh crazy kids.

It was shocking. When someone got hit with one of those long lights, you know the ones i mean, thin bout 3 foot long. The glass smashed and went flying in this kids direction. He was lucky to be covering his face at the time, but all the shards embedded into his arm. Looked painful, and he just smiled. Funny people in this world.

I should show these guys the photos of my Dad's hand after one of those flouresent bulbs exploded in work. Cut the top of his hand all the way down to the tendens. Stupid kids, the main thing that got me was the mum of the spotty kid that was "really dark" because his girlfriend broke up with him. She didn't seem to condone the wrestling, ut obviously had no intention of trying to discourage him.

Backyard wrestling is old. Some of the stuff tey do is pretty stupid, but great to watch. Only time it really gets coverage is when somone dies or is injured though.
