Rules are simple,
it has to be a song from your native country, and it has to be sung
in the local language...

[English is for obviouse reasons, not an acceptable entry]

so for you britts, it'll have to be some local dialect of gaelic or other...

later we vote for teh winnar

come on guys..!
your not really getting into the spirit of this,
a lame english accent isnt really enough to qualify

calo, thor and fl3a have the right idea though

Seems to be a fan made video but it's Super Furry Animals - Drygioni:

and no... I've got no idea what the lyrics mean. :)
Drygioni means mischief. :)

My contribution is this. It's sung in welsh and english and the sentiment is spot on.
"Everyday that I wake up, I thank the lord I'm welsh!"

The Finns have an unfair advantage... they've got the likes of Apocalyptica, Nightwish, HIM, Sinergy and many MANY other decent bands.

ok,
I can see how this could be a little unfair to the english,
so lets broaden it a little,

new rule is simple, anyone can post any song, in any language
exept that the song cannot be sung in English or Spanish

The song numa numa and anything by rammenstien or basshunter are banned from this competition

welsh, gaelic ect is ok, or some really thick local accent that no one outside of a 10mile radius can understand. But please remember to post country of origion

example
Kent, Sweden

this is russian, dunno where from
oh and it worked really well in rocknrolla, but the lyrics are just so brutal. tells a story of a guy who got so drunk he thought he was seeing vampires and zombies (and killing them with a stake), drinking the blood of satan etc
YouTube - RocknRolla Dopilsya EX SEKTOR GAZA Lyrics

and my previous was from one of the greatest punk bands in estonia, listing the towns in estonia where he has got beaten up
