Let me get this right.
As well as paying BW for the DAOC servers, they also have to pay a sub to play DAOC?
I don't do beards and sandals so have never bothered investigating.

P.S. Do they wear dark socks with their sandals in true Brit fashion?

BW don't have anything to do with the servers. Goa, a french company run the servers and like pretty much most MMORPG's they charge a monthly sub. BW are the nearest thing to "official" forums that the game has (they're promoted by Goa and 2 of the mods are Goa employees).

Damini is a mod, and I pity her.
