Hello just talking to my self for a bit because no one seems to read this message board, or should I say no one from BW.

What the ferk is going on.
I play LMCTF but lately I seem to be the only one.
Is this because you are running the same maps over and over again.
Where are the XMAPS, and some different skins might make a change.
And also my connection is shit, just like everyone elses seems to be, i get a better con through Freeserve.
Oh well I have had my little whinge and I feel a bit better now.
Right lets connect to Freeserve and play that LMCTF game hosted in Dallas USA, with the XMAPS and about 30 gung-ho yanks, but at least my ping is better and I don't get so much lag.

the LM clans imploded not long ago. Most of the debris is playing RA2, hovering around IRC or considering the move to Q3CTF or UTCTF.

I could write a lot about the demise of LM covering such topics as lack of competition, too small user base, large download, etc, but what i'd most like to say is a big to Speccy for calling us "debris"

Just because some 'rubble' has drifted away from LMCTF for whatever reason, remember, there as still a few regular players who, like myself are modemer's and can only play if the connection is good. We all know that lately there have been problems with the BW dialup (good luck guys - hope its sorted sooner than later), but people will only play if they can get a stable conn. added to the fact that its a large download, and when running on BW, has never has been very stable, as it regularly crashed and defaulted to the bog standard, (for BW anyway, STAT MACHINE). I've also noticed that (favorite) maps always seem to be in the map cycle. I think these were voted favorite by the departed fallout, however now I think would be a good time to add an x-map, just one would be nice. Also, then other newcommers would not have to wait to long to join the game, without having to dowload all the x-maps.
Anyway I did'nt realise that BW were only interested in keeping the clan regulars happy, as I get this impression from speccy's responce. Hope I'm not comming in from the wrong angle speccy, so to speak, but all the guys at BW are doing a fine job. thanks for the oportunity of being able to play Q2 LMCTF multiplayer.
