They way I see it is that you're looking about 1.5 plat for a full oc'd set.

Assuming you're doing 37/32 overcharges (the most common level of OCing), then it's as follows:

32 * 5g = 160g
5 * 20g = 100g
so 260g per item, or 1,560g for a full set of armour.

Sounds fair to me, given that it can take 4-5 hours to make all the 99% quality gems needed.

Think I'll use this formula then I get to LGM spell crafting. (only 127 points to go).

127 points = about 127 * 5 retries * 10 gold = about 6 plat for the last 127 points and a shitload of time to go.....

a regular buy for 30 tries requires (.3*3700 + .3*1000 + 30) = about 1430 clicks just buying the materials. This will give you in average 6 skill-ups when using high yellows / low oranges. About 1 in 3 is a succesful try, about 1 in 5 is a skill-up on primairy skill.
