Anyone else find his damage.. a little odd? Will post screenies when i next get zerged, he just hit me for 795, capped resists, with 50% 150hp ablative. Nearest damage ive been hit for is a quad hit from a savage (with no ablative)

i managed to evade a pa with my inf for 993 dmg. dont know how but here is what happend

killed a yellow stealther, notice another stealther next to me so click on him and press any style so he cant pa, he lost 9.5 bubs hp then next hit killed him.

in combat bar its says "you evade <forget name> PA and hit for 993 dmg +450.

surely the only explanation is teh guy had 1 con

I grouped with him yesterday, he does hit really hard. He's got alot of ToA shit.. I'm sure theres an explanation somewhere.

i can hit for ~650 unbuffed (no crit) dont see why buffed rr9 troll can't hit for more

My Druid has been hit 3 times for 750ish dmg without a crit by some 2handed weilding troll (from NP) thats with full resists.

Still it wasn't as nasty as being quad hitted by 2 savages at once

100% sure >I< could hit you for 795, given buffs and luck, so not like its very hard for someone with ~40str and 9 weaponspec more?

not rly. they got more ws, but ws doesnt affect damage cap, it defines how often you hit it. a ho polearmsman (6.0 spd weapon) or zerk with dragonstorm (5.8 speed 2h hammer) can reach higher, zerk being in zerk mode and getting a 99% crit

If he has 0 quickness in sc, then he hits below the weapon's delay(since he's below 60 qui), i think it's around 0.4s slower or so thus biggest caps come from trolls in daoc add high str to that he can hit near cap on you, might be able to if he has high aug str and overcapped str.

Troll with ragnarok using 5.6 2h battler with 10% melee bonus and 10% styled damage can cap at around 850-900 i expect since both effect caps.I remember my friend's troll skald capping around 780 or so at rr5 with 35 quickness and 5.4 2h sword :E

Can test on my zerk and tell you caps here if you want.

Just take the slowest wep, the lowest quick tank, fully buff apart from haste and d/q, get neckid target, sit it down, do big dmg Or get a ToAed caster oO
