Wow.
I was a bit bored and checked out a link to this from another forum in someones sig.
Its only a 50 meg dl, 20 if you get the small version.
Basically its a FREE racing game.
Its GREAT to play with other people online - almost none of the lag problems other online racers suffer from and we've been running 8-10 player races off my ADSL connection with no probs so far - except ISDN people couldnt cope and lagged the whole server.
Its VERY easy to get into, just setup your keys or joystick/wheel/mouse and go.
For those who like tweaking you can tweak almost everything possible to tweak to change your cars performance.
Limited Slip Differential, Final Drive Ratio etc and tons more - so all you initial D fans get downloading.
The graphics are also pretty good, i'm running it in 800x600 on a 1.4ghz athlon with a gf4mx 440 and getting 60fps for the most part. Thats with a few things turned off though, but you dont really notice.
Anyway i'll be hiding out in #wij on quakenet if anyone downloads it and wants a bash.
