we thought so too, but with NP healers respeccing to sojourner with the Forceful Zephyr ability, bodyguard is not as good as it can be (especially with the bugged? timers and dealys).

Yeah, giving healers this "I win" button is pretty sad. I havent seen the full consequences of this yet, but it has the potential to ruin 8vs8 RvR.

if they were introduced they shoulda been given to enhance friars, shammy and wardens

or 3 unused classes in all three realms Because to give to ward/shammy means mid groups dont really need an extra person in group whereas adding a friar to an alb group would mean another caster.

Though then theres the problem of them being on a buffer class of alb and not of the others and......well sod it, buff shearing is a crap idea. Lets make the most boring part of the game (buffing) have to be done more often..../sigh

it isn't a bad idea at all, it is just very badly executed w/out Mythic looking into it enough first.
I don't understand while people keep saying buffing is boring. If you're buffing for no reason, sure it sucks, but if you're in the middle of a fight and that is going to win the fight then why is it any more or less boring than a heal or a mez or whatever. I can understand that doing damage appeals to people more but support spells are suport spells to me

my point is that not always is utility = success.

The discussion is not wether utility = sucess, but wether Alb groups can field enough utility to support their damage output. No one has been able to show an alb group that can fight both hib caster groups and mid tank groups.

I think the main problem is that most of the Albion anti-caster utility is on cloth casters, who are not very useful against tank groups.

Clerics as main interrupters is a poor choice. No instas with quick reuse (the best is pbaoe on 20s which is poor, and have no nice side effect like disease), poor casting time and no quickcast. Once someone gets an interrupt going on this cleric, he is out untill he gets help. Clerics are miles away from interrupting as well as a shaman or a healer.
