Anyone else get in the Eurogamer beta?

I'm really impressed with the gameplay so far. Will test the level creator heavily tonight...

Actually the more I play it the more it grows on me. Just done the level which allows me to create my own stuff and I adore the music!

I think it's really gonna shine if people play a lot of local coop. Me and my brother were in fits of laughter (like seriously) at the VERY start, when they first tell you how to customise your sackboy. We were just making different silly faces, waving our arms about and slapping eachother. It was absolutely hilarious.

Just spent an hour and a half going through the basic tutorial levels and making silly faces into my playstation eye Was about to point out it's Stephen fry narrating, but someone already did. I love all the little touches and can't wait to start creating my own stuff.

This and now Wipeout HD makes it so easy to just lose hours of your life without realising it. I've spent ages trying to build a level - aiming to do a full platforming level, not just a single vehicle ride or a certain theme as most people are doing, but a proper level like Mm made themselves. Should be interesting when its done!

My son who is a die-hard xbox 360 fan (until I bought him a ps3) has always dismissed LBP as a girlie game, myself and my daughter loved the beta. Anyway, the retail version made it way to me (don't ask and no it was not through my company), so I invited him around yesterday to have a play with dad (later in the evening as I was working).

Guess what, we were laughing like little kids and he thinks it is brilliant. Oh, he has just turned up for some more. Back later!

It's only 10 extra days for us, not too bad. It is pretty shitty but they couldn't have released it in that state. Once Muslims get a hold of something like this you start to see them burning Media Molecule flags and sackboys at trafalgar square.
