Hello guys

I have a small problem when I try to duallogg on my computer.

After 10 minutes or so the "bb" account goes linkdead.

I'v the tried /clientsleep commands but no luck.

I have a AMD 3500+ and 2GB RAM and a SATA2 disk with a ATI x600 gfxcard.

Anyone have any ideas?

as far as i can guess its because ur using the same client installation
try installing the game in 2 different folders, normaly works for me
if not, try playing in windowed mode and turn off clientsleep, or put it on bagground instead.

dont know about the latest expansion but ur system should be enough for 2 cata clients so take it that it shouldnt be a problem with the newest

Used to duel log all the time and always get this problem. Happens by far the most when both accounts are idle (ie you go for a piss) and always the account in the background.

If you fix it let us know, iirc I tried some of the recommended fixes and nothing seemed to work.

Duel core CPU ftw!

this might help.

right click 'My Computer'
go 'Properties'
goto 'Advanced'
click 'Settings under performance'
then in the 'performance options' go 'Advanced'
make sure processor Scheduling is set to 'Background Services'

I downloaded yesterday new frontiers toa client, and set it running as a windowed 800x600 resolution mode to the background.

Then I started the dr client (installed to different directory ofcourse), as fullscreen mode, and noticed that the toa client had crashed to the desktop :/

Display adapter is asus eax1600xl (pci-e, radeon), using catalyst drivers.

How to fix such crashing? Even when using the dr client in fullscreen mode, the game spontaneously time-to-time crashes in camelot. Usually when exiting from the game. Using windows xp pro sp2, the crash is blue screen of death type of crash most often, bad_pool_header or similar, and when I next boot the operating system on, it'll report that the crash was due display driver. However I have no such problems in other games like Everquest II.

There is a fix for radeon card problems in the support section on GOAs website.

I had the same problem, however this may sound very very strange but it works for me :D took me a while to get it right.

In Full Screen Mode both Clients....

1. Load up BB Account - Move him to where you want him, Pan the Camera to above his head and "Zoom in" So all you see is his feet then /setcamera to that position (this reduces the Player lag you get as the pc will not recongise the other players running past or present in room) - Also do the usual no spell effects, near plane, names none etc etc.

2. log off BB

3. Load up your main client as normal

4. Then ALT TAB to windows.

5. Start your IE and leave on a page www.google.com etc.

6. Load up BB account.

7. ALT TAB to IE "NOT" your main client

WAIT for PC to trundle through its process.

8. Then ALT TAB to MAIN CLIENT

Now all you need to do to switch between MAIN and BB Client is just ALT TAB between them

Dont know why this works! but it does, i very very rarely go LD on one of my clients, ofc RVR can get alittle sluggish running two at once but needless to say it works ;)

Hope this helps.
