in at emain docks

some druid is getting shot by a scout, i assist druid, he has a target i cannot see

another druid comes along, she has the same thing, gets shot, i assist, cant find him..

so i dive under and wait a few seconds later...right at the very bottom is a scout firing more arrows (no it wasnt volley, it was animated draws etc) so i killed him

the questions are

how did he target people above water (there are answers to that, maybe a mate on the shore he assisted, maybe he swam up n down lots)

can you shoot from the bottom of the sea to people standing on the docks ?

never got a chance to try it myself but interested to know!

Hmm, shouldn't beable to shoot from below to someone above, volley my only guess it could have been, but you ruled it out.

Tho, in other situations its posible to jump to gain LoS over rocks, hill side tower walls and so on.

What I've found out is that Los is horrible, so I went melee

Bug report imo, if it's a bug abusing scout get him banned, one less alb to worry about then

I can sure tell it was not volley. He hit me for 700 once (I guess a crit or so), then consecutive 400...not that it hurts, just sucked my balls that my pet couldn't go underwater and kick his sorry arse =))


But I'd like to know how that came, too, tbh.

Cause basically he attacked me, my pet engaged him so he dived and my pet got suck on surface ( QQ ). I went there, dived and tried to find him, didn't so I went to surface again and swam there and he continued hitting me for quite a long time, till angry nuked him ( thx m8 ) =)

Just came to thinking, it takes little time for arrow to hit target?

So if he was above water stealthed, released arrow and dive before hit landed / opponent client reacted?

Would be just 1 more thing "working as intended"

let me put this into perspective and im sure the 2 druids who were getting shot will confirm this

the druids were on the green stuff, the grass, the slope, the incline at the docks

the scout was at the bottom of the water approx 1/4 out from the river centre line

the druid pets didnt pick him up afaik (usually they hover above him in the water at surface level) which makes me think, bug abuse

Yes, TT was being shot while on land and I saw that. I then asked smth like stealther? and engaged the silly camper. So what I did was, I ran out on the water on the SURFACE!, till he started shooting me. my pet ofc went for him and I /face'd him. Then, to my surprise, no way I could see this guy. My pet went to some location and waited there, as if dived. Then, I still got damage, even while being at the surface and I was like wtf is going on here? I dived, faced again and still couldn't see him, but the shooting stopped. Then my pet started running and running and soon after I saw the: RIkken was just killed by Angrysquirrel. Sadly I forgot to video it (as I always forget to video my solo fights, nerf).
I still got some logs of it, but if you say that can be abused, I should send them to GoA maybe.
