LOL well for those of you who read my thread bout my main comp being b0rked... hmm it seems lightning CAN strike twice... the PSU forked up on my secondary comp (the p3-450) making me have to unpack the P75 I had hidden away.... this takes the fecking piss.... win 3.11 ne1 640x480 screen res on a 19" monitor... YUM!... I'm having to scroll sideways as I type... Hmmm *me goes off to find win95* should run on a p75 16mb ram surely? With a diamond stealth something GFX card and a soundblaster 16 heh :)

Should this brake down... luckily I have a forth computer.... I'll be forced to pull the 286 out the loft... heh

I seem to be havin' one of those days... the crotch on my khaki combat trowsers ripped today in town :(

Mebbe your mains is a bit unstable. I know my dad had components burnt out several times until he got a UPS and no problems since.

Only the one died of PSU related causes... the other cause teh mobo b0rked.... :)

A UPS would be a good purchase, as Cask so sagely suggests. APC is the best manufacturer, but I've seen cheaper alternatives about. £65 is a good price to protect your mobo and PSU, seeing as you're obviously at risk.

Do it!

aye, a UPS is something I'll deffo be getting some time in the new year. APC have some nice models there too, and I like the "roll your own" configurator they have on their site :)
