I did quite well against that red Zerker fellow (when I remembered to use dirt).

Shame our group panicked and didn't stick together as well as we could have we almost won ...

Guess it makes up for finding Elves at Bledmeer (when it's Midgard owned... they captured it shortly after our little interruption... 2 groups + mezz >> 2 groups w/o mezz alas)

Was fun all the same

I find more and more groups suffering from bad teamplay like that. People don't make tactics, don't agree on what to do in certain situations likely to occur, don't pay attention... I have fun in most groups with friendly chatting people, but it does get on my nerves that 90% of the groups I find going to Emain get wacked before they get past Crim valleys, and about 40% doesn't even make it past the Gorge.

But I'm working on setting up more alert, balanced and capable RvR groups with my guild (; I suggest other guilds do the same

it takes practice, how well did you cope with bad pull at level 10?

it takes practice and experience to know what to do when you get jumped/mezzed/etc.

same as it took practice/experience to know what to do when you get a purple extra aggro, or mugged by a wandering basilisk whilst yer killing a giant...

Ofcourse it does, but some people don't play to learn or practise RvR; they log on, go to Ligen, find a group, and hope for the best.

Lots of peeps tend to be lazy and lack initiative, which is a perfectly good way of playing a game (it is for relaxation afterall, imho),but some peeps like to put a little more effort into it, knowing it can increase the fun a lot.

And (I expect) all it takes is a few peeps setting up groups with a few simple guidelines that no one will find hard (or too much effort) to follow.

My guild have all hunted with each other in guild grps through every level since i started the guild (sharp was 50 so had to make minimoose lol). All are mates who re-rolled from hib, and damn theyre good together. Know how each other plays etc inside out now, and mostly all just hit the 40+ mark so will be coming to RvR from this weekend onwards. Fingers crossed they can take all this practice and put it into the real thing as a team

Hehe not very often in albion getting to Ligen is rather rare... this was a 'cool fight post' but noone was responding so I thought I'd try and get it to a flame..

Most people just go to emain, follow the zerg and run around like headless chickens

Killgorde appears to have turned some of the Midgard zerg into an efficient killing machine...

our little group was part of Girigu's equivalent in albion..

besides dunno if this was same time but what a heck makes a story atleast, Mids were camping ligen as usual and one gimped elf had been running 2nd or 3rd time with still res sick on and what's happening albs charging mids, woot what a chance thinks res ill gimp elf and charges and pbaoe with rez-ill on mids and albs down not all but enough to get RPs ^^

could be the same one we charged an elf and then noticed that the other folks with him were trolls...

unfortunately my green-con arse wasn't very good against the zerk... got him to about 1/4 hp (after much healing and remembering about my dirt...)
