In finland it's the same exact meat that in any shop.

Cheap != bad.

In fact, most of Lidl products beat "branded" products any day.

Good to the see the Finns aint stupid, luckily after 15 years the British are finally starting to catch on that the big 4 supermarkets are ripping them off and so they are giving Lidl/Aldi a try and for the most part enjoying it.

The funny thing is, all the people who buy branded products claiming 'oh so they are so healthier.'

They're not!

I read an article on this where some branded products, such as pasta sauce, had nearly 25x-30x the salt of the basic pasta sauce.

my housemate stopped buying tinned hotdogs when i read the label out to him. its meat content was about 20% "chicken"
