Licences for Games...

Just wondered what the normal process is to get games licences for gaming centres. I am located in Ireland, so things maybe different, but I was just wondering if there like one "distributor" that can look after licencing issues with several software vendors.

Yeah, that would be nice, but I believe that the EULA states that a licence cannot be used in a gaming centre. Ideally, you could buy 16-20 licences at £40 each, but there is a site licence that I believe needs to be purchased for the likes of gaming centres. This (in the US at least) costs about $2000 per game.

Sounds like a good idea (a distributor that handles gaming licencing), but I am not sure if the market is big enough to warrent one.

Try ringing up a couple of big games software suppliers and see what they say
