In case you hadn't realised, our libel laws are being used by nobheads throughout the world to silence their critics (even when there's nothing to do with the UK) since fighting a libel case in this country is unimaginably expensive for the person accused and our judges are a bunch of cnuts.

Also, Google the Simon Singh case for a recent example. Singh's book is an excellent read and I can't believe he's going to be ruined by a load of quacks :/
