Lian-Li UK Supplier

I'm looking for this lovely case - a Lian-Li PC-42.

But I can't find anyone who stocks it in the UK, or indeed, anywhere in the world, and Lian-Li don't have a list of resellers on their website.

Has anyone seen one of these cases for sale anywhere, or had good experiences anywhere with custom orders?

Or an alternative case along the same lines.:)

you might wat to try these guys Will :) They seem to have lots of LianLi case, not the specific one you want though but perhaps an email to them will help.

Yeah, I thought it might come to a mass emailing to every UK website with Lian-Li on it.

Eat spam, PC-suppliers...

yeh i took a look and saw they didnt have it, but in their mini case section they have lots of lil' cases same size as that one, probably alot cheaper too :)

Ah, but not quite what I'm looking for. The money isn't really a problem, I'm looking for a small light-weight case, as small as possible, and the Lian-Li is the smallest, neatest looking case I've seen. Only one big and one small external bay, but that's all I want, and takes full sized expansion cards, unlike another case I was looking at.

Sorry, my heart is set, I want to see if I can get one, thanks anyway.

I sent them an email when I was looking for UK stockists of the full size window panel for the PC-70. They replied within 2 hours with a link to Bosse Computers, but that site appears to be down...

Try emailing service@mail.lian-li.com is my best suggestion.

Emailed Bosse. If I hear nothing back today, I'll send one to Lian-Li.

Though web-sites with typos (Bosse) worry me.;)

Stunning, a reply from Bosse already, saying they have an order being shipped next week, they will see what they can do.

How do Lian-Li cases compare generally with other brands apart from looks ? My best case is still an old Globalwin 802 with thumbscrews and motherboard tray, it is a real pleasure to work with and a very solid case.

I'd consider a better looking, and smaller, case, but I don't want to lose the "ease of use" when I upgrade the guts of it.

Don't diss my new case.:p

The case won't be good as easy to work with as the Globalwin 802 (I think everyone has one, I know I do) but that's not what this box is for, I just want a more portable machine for running my windows games, and the tiny size, light weight and nice looks (it's all a matter of opinion), make this a good choice for what I want.

Still waiting on my email back though...

If the size is the main issue then why not just switch to e-cube. Have a look at it on http://www.hitechpc.co.uk/. It has both amd and p4 version and I think it is what you wanted.

Itchy, you've picked one of the ugliest cases I've ever seen. :/

Oh for fucks sake...

I was emailed by KustomPCs 2 weeks ago telling me they couldn't get hold of these, so I gave up and got a totally different case.

I am so unimpressed, I emailed 20 places, even emailed Lian-Li direct, who gave me a UK company whos sales email address was returned as undeliverable.

The new case arrived today, pics will be posted when it's built and has bits inside, so maybe next month.

Did you try Scan?

Actually no, I didn't try Scan, but I tried most other places, including a few international suppliers and Lian-Li direct.

I'm about to order a very similar case ;)

Also getting a Zalman Copper Cooler. As I'm *REALLY* sick of the noise that my current rig creates :) Small spinky Aluminium cases are the way forward! :D
