What do these actually do, components such as cauldren of vivifying water.
May sound ignorant but i have no idea anyone care to enlighten

U collect some materials and u givf them to a WC to make u a lgm weapon - the lgm components are the integrients that the weapon's type of damage depends on.

e.x Cauldron of Vivifying water = ur weapon will do cold damage
